Dr. Marcovici has practiced Cosmetic Surgery at Aesthetic Medical Center in Avon, CT since 2007. A seasoned physician, Dr. Iacob Marcovici has many years of training and surgical experience, using minimally invasive procedures that allow for excellent outcomes and fast recovery. Cosmetic surgery is his passion, which becomes obvious when you consult with him. He understands the needs of his patients and how quality cosmetic surgery and cutting-edge technologies can enhance one's life.

His interest in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic medicine was sparked by his Ob/Gyn patients who repeatedly asked him "if there was a way to avoid those horrible breast scars", so commonly seen after breast surgery. Some of his patients asked him, at the end of a long, sometimes difficult pregnancy, for a tummy tuck, cosmetic breast procedure and/or intimate rejuvenation; procedures known as "The Mommy Make Over".

It was because of Dr. Marcovici's Ob/Gyn patients needs that he expended his surgical skills in the field of cosmetic surgery. By entering the field of cosmeto-gynecology Dr. Marcovici is not alone. There are thousands of gynecologists in the United States and the world that also practice cosmetic surgery. Memberships within prestigious medical societies such as: American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, International Society of Cosmeto-Gynecology and other organizations help keep doctors up to date on the most innovative and safest cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Marcovici is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has practiced Ob/Gyn for more than 25 years. Dr. Marcovici holds academic appointments as an assistant clinical professor of Ob/Gyn at Yale University, New Haven, CT and University of Connecticut, Farmington, CT.
