Cosmetic fillers are injections that fill out wrinkled or uneven facial areas, gently smoothing wrinkles and restoring bulk to the curves of the face, where loss of volume occured. It's also referred as Liquid Facelift, non surgical facial contouring procedure, 20 min. instant facial rejuvenation, lips augmentation. Most of them have FDA approval for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, and correction of soft tissue contour defects such as acne scars. Can be use to correct some facial asymmetry. There are several cosmetic fillers available in USA, including Radiesse, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, and Sculptra.

Restylane® and Perlane® are safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds; such as the line from your nose to the corners of your mouth (smiley lines or nasolabial folds). Restylane and Perlane are the first cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is a crystal-clear gel called NASHA or Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid. NASHA is biodegradable and fully biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid.

Radiesse® is a safe dermal filler used for the correction of facial lines and wrinkles such as nasolabial folds. Radiesse® is made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a natural gel that is injected into the skin through a simple, safe and minimally invasive procedure. Hundreds of thousands of patients have experienced Radiesse® worldwide. Radiesse® is FDA approved and stimulates your skin to produce new collagen. It provides immediate wrinkle correction in a treatment that can be performed over your lunch hour! Radiesse® dermal filler typically lasts eight months or more.

Juvederm™, a family of dermal fillers,  provides physicians with the flexibility to tailor each treatment to a patient's particular needs. JUVÉDERM ULTRA is a highly cross-linked formulation for more versatility in contouring and volumizing facial wrinkles and folds; and JUVÉDERM ULTRA PLUS is a more highly cross-linked, robust formulation for volumizing and correction of deeper folds and wrinkles. JUVÉDERM is the only hyaluronic acid dermal filler developed using the proprietary HYLACROSS technology. It is an advanced manufacturing process resulting in a malleable gel that flows easily into the skin and creates a smooth, natural look and feel. In clinical studies, adverse events were usually mild to moderate in nature, did not require intervention, and lasted seven days or less. The most common side effects are temporary injection site reactions; including redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps and bumps and bruising.

Fat Transfer is the procedure where excess fat is removed from areas such as the abdomen, flanks, hips or thighs and, after special preparation, injected into areas of the body that need filling. The process requires gentle fat removal using low-vacuum liposuction and the use of thin, delicate, non-traumatic cannulas to protect the survival of each harvested living fat cell. The fat cells are then purified and slowly injected through tiny skin incisions into the tissue of the recipient site utilizing a small syringe and cannula. Tiny droplets are placed throughout the tissues assuring that each transferred fat cell will have an adequate blood supply to achieve the permanent survival of the injected fat cells.
